Giveaway And An Update

1 August, 2014 by Slim Palate 39 Comments

Fish-Sauce-Shirt-Magnet-resized-

Before I get started I just want to let everyone know (and mainly because I’m somewhat proud of myself for finally ending the procrastination cycle) that I’ve moved my email newsletter to a beautiful and much more functional format that everyone can read and you can subscribe here. I highly urge you to subscribe because if you do then you’ll not only get instant updates fromย my blog but you will automatically be entered in subscriber exclusive contests, deals, etc. If you’re already subscribed, don’t worry, I moved all of my old subscribers over to this new format.

I’ve finally completed my “actual” book tour. I was able to venture back to my birthplace Los Angeles and visited San Francisco for the first time. I am so thankful for the turn outs at both Book Passage and Pages: A Bookstore. So a huge thank you goes out to the store owners and people who came out. But enough of the updates lets cut to the chase and get to what you’re likely here for:

To 3 winners I’ll be giving away a bottle of fish sauce, a limited edition kitchen magnet for my cookbook, and a limited edition t-shirt for my cookbook. Also as a quick question. Would anyone ever be interested in me selling these shirts? Anyway, you can enterย the giveaway below:

Yes, please offer the Tshirt for sale. I don’t like the way crew neck shirts look on me so this V-neck is perfect, and has a great message too!

I am new in this journey and am battling several food related illnesses. My hope is to compile a wonderful assortment of recipes that will make my life eating enjoyable. And, to become well and enjoy my later years instead of all of these pills. I enjoy reading the blogs, trying the recipes and the fruits of my labor I learning and cooking and feeling empowered again. Not to mention, a bonus, my husband is all in and cooks too!!! So nice to see a young man turn school bad situation into a positive! I too, had that issue! Hats off to you!!!!
