Recently I was asked by the wonderful George Bryant of Civilized Caveman to guest post for him. I screeched like a little girl of course and gladly accepted. Turns out that he is actually one of the sweetest human beings I have ever had spoken to in my life. So be sure to show him some love from me.He wanted a recipe that had fish in it and I knew right away what I wanted to post. If you want to check out the recipe and post you can check it out over at Civilized Caveman Cooking Creations.

Be sure to also follow George on Twitter and to like his Facebook page, because on top of him being super nice, and having the physique of Thor, he has wonderful recipes that will knock your socks off.

This was incredible! We eat a lot of salmon here, but my 9 year old said this was by far his favorite salmon ever. I made it with macadamia nut oil and managed to only lose the skin of one of my 4 filets. This was just a practice round for many nights of this recipe in the future!

Wow, approval from an 8 year old to eat salmon skin. Tell your eight year old I think they are awesome and to stay eating clean healthy foods like that. Well done by only losing the skin on 1 out of 4. I have gotten to the point where I never lose the skin but it used to be all of them I would mess up. But I’m not gonna lie, if it fell off it always tended to fall in my mouth. Be sure to take some pics if you get the chance I would love to see your wonderful final product.

I found this recipe on George’s site a little while back and just had the opportunity to try it out. I am not a big cook, but have decided to spend more time doing it and finding healthy food I enjoy eating. It was great! I never have gotten such a crispy skin! I used to stuff garlic in the middle of my salmon, but I like your method of top only better to help save some juices. Thanks again and keep up the delicious posts!
